Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 11, 2026 Last Updated: June 11, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of siliconproplumbing.com (the “Site”) and the plumbing and related services (“Services”) provided by Silicon Pro Plumbing (“Silicon Pro Plumbing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) License No. 1092134. By using the Site, requesting a quote, or booking Services, you (“you” or the “Customer”) agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site or engaging our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

2. Services

Silicon Pro Plumbing is a licensed plumbing contractor (CSLB License No. 1092134) providing residential and commercial plumbing services. These may include repairs, installations, drain and sewer cleaning, leak detection, water heater service and replacement, fixture installation, repiping, gas line work, and medical gas services, as described in your quote or service agreement. We offer 24/7 emergency service. The specific scope of work for any job is defined by the quote, estimate, or written agreement we provide to you.

3. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates and quotes are based on the information you provide and a visual inspection of accessible areas. Plumbing systems frequently involve conditions that cannot be seen until walls, floors, ceilings, or fixtures are opened or removed. If we discover concealed or pre-existing conditions — such as corroded or undersized pipes, prior non-code work, root intrusion, hidden leaks, or damage — the scope and price may change. We will communicate any material change in scope or price and obtain your approval before performing additional work where reasonably possible.

Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

4. Scheduling and Access

Service is scheduled by mutual agreement. To allow us to perform the Services, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property and to the work areas
  • Provide access to water shut-offs, the electrical panel, and water and power as reasonably required
  • Ensure that gates, locks, alarms, or other access points are addressed in advance
  • Secure pets and notify us of any hazards on the property

If we are unable to access the property or complete the work due to factors within your control, a trip charge or service call fee may apply.

5. Emergency and After-Hours Service

We offer 24/7 emergency service. Emergency, after-hours, weekend, and holiday service may be billed at higher rates, and a dispatch or service call fee may apply. We will disclose applicable emergency rates and fees before beginning work whenever circumstances allow.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. Cancellations or reschedules made with less notice, or appointments where we are unable to access the property at the scheduled time, may be subject to our service call fee. We reserve the right to reschedule due to safety conditions, parts availability, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Permits and Inspections

Certain work requires permits and inspections under state and local codes. Where we pull permits on your behalf, the cost of permits and inspection fees may be added to your invoice. You agree to provide access for any required inspections. We perform work in accordance with applicable plumbing codes; we are not responsible for pre-existing code violations or for bringing unrelated portions of the system up to current code unless that work is included in the agreed scope.

8. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger projects, a deposit or progress payments may be required as set out in your written proposal. We accept cash, check, and major credit and debit cards. Past-due balances may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month and/or interest as permitted by law. You are responsible for any reasonable costs of collection, including attorneys’ fees, on overdue amounts.

Mechanics lien notice. Under California law, contractors and suppliers who are not paid for work performed or materials supplied may have the right to record a mechanics lien against the property. This notice is provided for general informational purposes and does not replace any statutory preliminary notice or disclosure required by law.

9. Customer Responsibilities

To help us deliver the best results and avoid damage, you agree to:

  • Disclose known issues with the plumbing system, including past leaks, repairs, or non-code work
  • Identify the location of the main water shut-off and any known utility lines where applicable
  • Remove or secure fragile items, valuables, and obstructions from the work area beforehand
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area

We are not responsible for damage that results from undisclosed pre-existing conditions or inaccurate information provided about the property.

10. Concealed and Pre-Existing Conditions

Plumbing work can reveal or affect conditions that are not the result of our work. Except where caused by our negligence, we are not responsible for:

  • Concealed or pre-existing conditions not reasonably discoverable during a visual inspection (e.g., aged, corroded, or improperly installed pipes; hidden leaks; root intrusion)
  • Failure of old or deteriorated components, shut-off valves, or fixtures that fail during normal handling or operation
  • Pre-existing code violations or defects resulting from prior work by others
  • Damage to undisclosed or improperly located pipes, lines, or systems

Where addressing such conditions carries a risk of further damage, we will inform you before proceeding where reasonably possible.

11. Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion, unless a different period is stated in your written agreement. Parts, fixtures, and equipment are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, if any, which we pass through to you. This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, alterations, or repairs by others
  • Normal wear, hard water or mineral buildup, or acts outside our control
  • Pre-existing conditions or work not performed by us

To make a warranty claim, contact us at the phone or email below.

12. Limitation of Liability and Water Damage

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silicon Pro Plumbing and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Services or the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You acknowledge that plumbing work involves water and pressurized systems. Except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct, we are not responsible for water damage, mold, or consequential losses arising from concealed conditions, pre-existing defects, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Medical Gas Services

Medical gas piping and related services are a specialized, regulated category of work. Where we perform medical gas services, that work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and certification requirements, and is governed by a separate written scope of work and documentation. Nothing on the Site constitutes a representation that any particular medical gas service is appropriate for a given facility; suitability is determined on a project-specific basis.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided in a professional and workmanlike manner. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or in your written agreement, the Services and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Silicon Pro Plumbing and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or undisclosed property conditions that cause injury or damage.

17. Photography and Marketing

We may photograph completed work for quality, training, and marketing purposes. Photographs will not include identifying details of your property (such as a full address) without your consent. If you prefer that we not photograph your property, let us know in advance and we will honor your request.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

20. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal action, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at siliconproplumbing@gmail.com. [OPTIONAL — if you want binding arbitration or a class-action waiver, that language should be drafted and reviewed by counsel and added here.]

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This document is a template provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. These website Terms do NOT replace a CSLB-compliant written home improvement contract, which California law requires for most residential projects over $500 (including specific down-payment limits, a three-day right to cancel, and other mandatory disclosures). The limitation-of-liability, warranty, mechanics-lien, and medical gas provisions in particular should be reviewed by qualified counsel to confirm they fit Silicon Pro Plumbing’s actual operations and comply with California law.
